BrainSMART® exists to empower teams and organizations with frameworks and strategies for realizing more of their brains’ unique potential for attaining goals, building resilience, and achieving profitable growth for all.

Since 1998, team leaders Dr. Marcus Conyers and Dr. Donna Wilson have been researching, developing, and implementing their pioneering BrainSMART® programs in the contexts of education and business. They have worked with more than 160,000 leaders, trainers, and educators, reaching millions of participants around the world.

The team has partnered with institutions such as Nova Southeastern University to research, develop, and grow the world’s first doctoral minor in Brain-Based Leadership and the first Master of Science, and Educational Specialist degrees focused on applied Mind, Brain, and Education science (BrainSMART® Programs).

Studies of impact have been presented at leading research conferences such as AERA, AACTE, IACEP, and the Implementation Science Conference at Cambridge University.

The BrainsMART team has authored 20 books and shared key elements of their BrainSMART® programs at thousands of live events across the United States and Canada as well as in a growing number of locations throughout the world, including, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Australasia.

Marcus Conyers, Ph.D.
CEO and Co-Founder of BrainSMART®
For 40 years, Dr. Marcus Conyers has been pioneering the field of BrainSMART ® Leadership. An author of 20 books and the developer of the world's first doctoral minor in this field with Nova Southeastern University, he has worked in 30 countries on five continents, with more than 100,000 participants. He is an affiliate member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
Donna Wilson, Ph.D.
President and Head of Academic Affairs of BrainSMART®
Dr. Donna Wilson, psychologist, and former chair of education, is co-developer of the world’s first doctoral minor, Master of Science, and Educational Specialist degrees in applied Mind, Brain, and Education science (BrainSMART® Programs). She is an author of 20 books and an international consultant who has worked in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Canada, the Caribbean, and across the United States. She is faculty with ASCD.
