Lead Coach, Marcus Conyers, Ph.D.
For four decades, Dr. Marcus Conyers, the developer of the BrainSMART ® Executive Coaching program, has been a pioneer in the field now known as Brain-Based Leadership or NeuroLeadership. His global leadership experience has focused on improving organizational performance through practical applications of cognitive psychology and neuroscience in ways that support profitable growth.
Dr. Conyers developed the world’s first doctoral minor in Brain-Based Leadership with Nova Southeastern University. He serves as a research supervisor for the Ph.D. in Professional Practice: Psychological Perspectives at the Solomons Institute for Applied Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University and is an affiliate member of the Institute of Coaching (IOC) at McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
An author of 20 books, including Positively Smarter, and Developing Growth Mindsets, Dr. Conyers has worked in 30 countries on five continents and shared his work with 100,000 executives and educators worldwide. His person-centered executive coaching approach focuses on respectful dialogue and the fostering of metacognitive skills.
